The on-site Public Student Esthetic Clinic at Utopia Academy is a teaching clinic and offers esthetic services to the public. Students learn to provide excellent customer service while providing quality services such as manicures, pedicures, facials, anti-aging peels, body wraps, waxing and makeup application.
All treatments are conducted under guided supervision with a Utopia Academy Instructor. Our facilities include individual showers, pedicure thrones, custom designed manicure tables and electric treatment beds that adjust for your comfort. All our guests in the clinic can expect complete privacy from other guests for waxing and body treatments and partial privacy for facials.
Esthetic students at Utopia Academy enrich their hands on learning with practice in our public clinic. Students are able to perform services on guests one they have successfully passed their assessments.
The Student Clinic provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable hands on experience as they are supervised by knowledgeable and experienced instructors. Our instructors are all certified professionals with the Cosmetology Industry Association of BC.
There is underground parking in the building and the Academy is located on the 4th floor, which is accessible by elevator. Our friendly receptionist will greet you upon your arrival and check you in. Your student esthetician will introduce themselves and take you to the clinic floor to consult with you about your skin care needs. Professional implements and products are always used in the clinic. Students are well educated on, and exercise sanitation and equipment standards.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your service. Arriving early promotes a relaxed atmosphere for your treatment and your student Esthetician.
The Esthetic Public clinic operates Tues., Thurs. and Fri. 1:30pm to 5:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm in our Abbotsford location only.
