The on-site Public Student Hair Clinic at Utopia Academy is a teaching clinic and offers salon services to the public. Students learn to provide excellent customer service while providing quality services such as consultations, haircutting, coloring, styling and perming.

The Student Clinic provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable hands on experience as they are supervised by knowledgeable and experienced instructors. Our instructors are all registered professionals with the Cosmetology Industry Association of BC.

There is underground parking in the building and the Academy is located on the 4th floor, which is accessible by elevator. Our friendly receptionist will greet you upon your arrival and check you in. Your student stylist will introduce themselves and take you to the clinic floor to consult with you about your hair care needs. Professional salon tools and products are always used in the clinic. Students are well educated on, and exercise sanitation and equipment standards. You will enjoy comfortable salon grade shampoo sinks and styling chairs in a bright and energetic environment.
