I have had the pleasure of working for the Utopia Group for over seven years now. First at Spa Utopia in Langley and now as Administrator at Utopia Academy in Abbotsford.

For the past three years I have also been passionately involved as a committee member of the Utopia Foundation. Raising money for charities both internationally and locally through the generous help of staff, owners and shareholders has truly enriched my life.






Leisa Dawiskiba, a licensed Esthetician is certified with the Cosmetology Industry Association of BC and has dedicated over 20 years to the Esthetics industry. Her experience encompasses all areas of esthetics; Facials, Advanced Medical Facials, Acid Peels, Microdermabrasion, Body treatments, Waxing, Manicures and Pedicures.

Prior to owning and operating a successful studio for 4 years, Leisa, was a manager for a large cosmetic company and worked in small and large salons, which have taken her to Spa Utopia & Salons as Director of Esthetics. For the last 5 years, Leisa has designed, developed and implemented Spa Utopia’s Esthetic Training Program.

Continuing education is a passion and a key to success for Leisa. Certified in Business Administration and Canadian Podology 1 she is currently completing her Provincial Instructors Diploma.






Upon completion of my Esthetics Diploma in 2003, I become a licensed esthetician and a member of the CIABC. I completed my Advanced Esthetics Diploma in 2005 which allows me to perform and teach services such as Microdermabrasion, chemical peels and many more. My passion and desire for this industry comes from wanting to always make others feel good about themselves. After working as an esthetician for many years at Spa Utopia & Salon, I decided that I wanted to transfer my passion to students in a nurturing and encouraging environment. It was at this time that I joined Utopia Academy.

I love going to many different spas, you could say it’s a hobby of mine! Extensive world travel has provided me with the opportunity to experience esthetic cultural diversity and share my knowledge of current global trends with students. Other hobbies of mine include reading, movies, music and spending time with my friends and family.
